a three minute walk from the Coxwell subway.

Boban Dosic: My interest in texture and surface quality of painting is recently enriched by adding shadows, reflections, faint suggestion of reality.

Gordana Olujic: Her mixed media works on paper are humorous and ambiguous take on the theme of childhood.

Eiko Watanabe: This series of photographs is atmospheric, narrative, and minimalist. The photographs are like a film. The story starts with astorm on the beach.

Heidi Evans: Showcasing both her whimsical abstracts and various other pieces, Heidi is a diverse photographer who is constantly thinking outside the box, and achieving interesting results.

William Bicket: As an emerging nature photographer, William gets to the heart of his subject – literally! An avid gardener turned landscaper, he spends most of his time where his subjects are, and has time to examine them with amazing results. Not your average tulip photograph here.

What is ‘crossRhodes?

cross·road [kraws-rohd, kros-]

1. a road that crosses another road, or one that runs transversely to main roads.

2. a by-road.

3. Often, crossroads.
a.    the place where roads intersect.
b.    a point at which a vital decision must be made.
c.    a main center of activity.

It is also a play on words as many people on Rhodes Ave. are not just neighbours, but friends as well. They meet on a regular basis to exchange ideas, concepts and dreams.
